Compact Design
Because Epathy doesn't rely on external shields, epathy is just 25mm x 26mm x 8mm. It can fit in even small projects with restricted space.
USB interface
Program Epathy using the USB microB connector without the need for a PROGRAMMER THING NAME. Additonally, thanks to the ideal diode circuit, you can power your divices as well as Epathy with a single USB outlet. 1
3 FET current sinks
The three PWM capable current sinks can each handle up to 3A. Create countless diffrent colors using a RGB LED strip, control solonoids, change the speed of a motor, or dim under cabnet lighting. As long as it uses under 20V DC you can control the power flow without any external componets. 1
Optional OLED
Put on the optional OLED screen (sold sepratly) for easy debugging or data output while only adding a few mm to the dimensions. 1
WiFi comunication
Built in 2.5 GHz b/g/n Wifi allows wireless comunication so you don't have to worry about running data lines. You can set the Epathy chip to just act as a wireless IO port and handle all the heavy lifting on a dedicated machiene1, have it act as a stand allone microprocesser without any wireless connection, or control one Epathy chip based on the input to another.

ADC input
The ADC input can read up to 20V, allowing you to interect will all sorts of external triggers. 1
Wide operating voltage.
The built in high effencey DC/DC converter allows Epathy to run off anywhere from 3 to 17v. Over 80% effecency1 also means less heat generation and longer runtimes. Power it from sources such as a 1S‑4S LiPo, USB port, or car lighter socket.
- Effecency varies depending on source voltage, load, and other factors. Standard conditions should achive >80%. Ideal conditions should achieve >90%.
Two 5V I/O pins
The on board charge pump and Bi-directional logic converter allows you to communicate with devices requiring 5V logic, even when you are running off less than 5V. You can even source and sink 50mA of power, more than enough to power standard 5mm LEDs.NUM
Accelerometer
Built in 3-axis accelerometer with 8bit [?] percision for motion and orientation detection. You can select +- 2, 4, 8, or 16g. 1
Ideal diode protection
By using an ideal diode circuit rather than a standard diode, Epathy provides protection without the stringent current limitations or voltage drops. 1
I2C ready
Connect just about anything with I2C. Epath can even provide up to 500mA of 3.3V power to external devices, like the OLED display. 1
