Headphone stand (Creative Labs Zen Hybrid Pro Classic)

I designed a holder for my new headset*. I was expecting my first try to need changes, either tolerances or bad measurements by me, so I printed it in pink. But it turned out fine. (printed on ender, designed in FreeCAD)

Excuse my lack of focus stacking (using a phone camera)

It may seem a bit tall, but that is so that the usb charge cable doesn’t undergo strain.

QR codes for humans

Pretty much everyone has a smart phone with a camera now, and QR codes seem to be here to stay, but there is a problem with human facing use in my opinion.

The problem I am talking about isn’t malicious use. The problem I am talking about is that barcodes are designed for computers, but today they are incorporated into use for humans.

That is a bit poorly worded, so let me give you an example instead.

While this may “work,” it is pretty clunky. Putting logos in the middle of the code and relying on error correction really grinds my gears too.

Let me restate the problem then, the problem is that people see the QR code, and it is a lot of distraction noise to them. So I propose that we hide the QR code from humans.

I made an android app called sleep solitaire in unity. It isn’t much, and has some bugs, but it works. Feel free to download it.
I thought about putting it on the play store, but it costs $25 to make a dev account and I don’t really think it is worth it for this.
If I decide I might do more, I might make a play account though.
